James Larsen- Director of Revenue Cycle 

Mr. Larsen is a Physician Practice Manager with over thirty-years of experience managing physician revenue cycle in both hospital and free standing settings. He works with most specialties including anesthesia, Internal Medicine, pathology and radiation oncology. Mr. Larsen is an active participant in the CAP, Healthcare Business Managers Association, MGMA-Anesthesia Administration Assembly, and SATRO regularly attending their medical coding and compliance classes. Mr. Larsen received his healthcare training with BCBS in medical coding and claims processing and was a Medicare claims Field Auditor for five years. Through a HCFA mandate he assisted BCBS in the implementation of the electronic claims process in 1978. Since then he has worked for several Practice Management Firms including his own. His responsibilities include practice leadership, contract management, accounts receivable management, medical coding and audit, credentialing automation and consulting.  jlarsen@practicercm.com 

Thomas A. Gallo- Director of Practice Administration

Mr. Gallo entered the healthcare field in 1995 as the Administrator of the largest medical oncology practice in Virginia.  In this role, Mr. Gallo transformed a financially challenged group into a stable, growing group that assumed regional leadership in the oncology community.  Under Mr. Gallo’s direction, the practice expanded rapidly, opening offices and introducing new and expanded services.  His financial expertise has proved invaluable in the oncology field.  In 1996, his practice merged with a smaller practice that was experiencing financial problems in their market.  They were able to double the practice’s collections in a one year time frame by establishing consistent operational policies and procedures, retraining clinical and clerical employees regarding specific billing and insurance requirements, and renegotiating purchasing and insurance arrangements.

Mr. Gallo has served as a consultant for numerous healthcare concerns, assisting organizations on topics including mergers and acquisitions, managed care contract negotiation, physician compensation, negotiation of financial and purchasing arrangements, practice formation and start-up, and strategic planning.  He served as the President of the Hematology-Oncology Leadership Network and the Virginia Association of Hematology and Oncology Managers and has worked closely with the American Society of Clinical Oncology on a number of federal regulatory issues and for their State Affiliates Program. He is an invited member of the Government Affairs Committee of the Association of Community Cancer Centers.

Arnold Little, MBA, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Little is a Certified Public Accountant with 30 years experience in business management including consulting for companies of all sizes and performing in managerial roles for major corporations as well as many entrepreneurial enterprises.  Mr. Little was founder and investor in a medical practice management company primarily comprised of hospital-based groups. He was also co-founder and principal of The John Little Group which provides consulting services covering in all aspects of business financial management as well as the discipline of aligning information technology solutions with business processes.  While at Ernst & Whinney Mr. Little served on the consulting staff and participated or directed projects for clients in various industries and governments across a wide range of service descriptions ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups, business turnarounds, acquisition valuations, and major systems implementations. 

Erik Larsen- Director of Operations

Mr. Larsen is a graduate of Christopher Newport University’s Luter School of Business.  He has over 12 years of experience in all facets of the patient account receivables management.  Mr. Larsen currently manages the client relations for our medical billing division.  He is responsible for all front- end processes, client data flow, database implementation, as well as relationships with onsite client contacts.  Erik has extensive customer service experience, with previous employment engagements with Apple Inc. and Capital One. elarsen@practicercm.com

Thomas Satterwhite, Data Integration Manager

Mr. Satterwhite is a healthcare consultant with 30 years of Healthcare Data Management experience. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has an extensive medical claims processing background working with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans in Virginia, Colorado and New Mexico.  For the past sixteen years, Thomas has worked as a client implementation specialist and has assisted in the development of our proprietary automated data scrubber improving workflows for the specialties we manage. He is also trained in the field of Information Technology, Database Management and HL7.
